If you have never used the Amazon system before, it can be a little confusing to register and take advantage of all the benefits. That’s where this post comes in. I’m going to share with you how to create a baby registry on Amazon and how to get Amazon Welcome Box and Complete Discount.

Let’s step back for a moment. If you are new to Amazon’s Baby Registry, you may be wondering why this is the best and what kind of benefits you can expect. As such, what makes this so extraordinary?

15% completion discount for Prime members (sign up for a 30-day free trial here), 10% for non-members
Free Welcome Box (Amazon Prime Members)
Free Shipping (Amazon Prime Members)
365 Return Policy for Items Bought on Registry (or 90 whenever purchased by the registrant)
Expensive Items Fund: Your visitor can add assets toward the acquisition of first-class things (say a buggy)
Diaper Fund: This is the place where your participants can give cash explicitly to diapers)
Universal Registry: You can add items to your registry via other websites
Aside from these benefits, I like how simple their record is to use. The choice is huge they have a fantastic return policy (of course you can now return many items in person), and the welcome box is a real theft
Remember, you are not the only one creating a baby register. In fact, I suggest you create 2: one with brick and mortar space and the other with Amazon.

You can also get up to 20% off here on Amazon’s diaper subscription plan (next to warehouse members, this is also one of the cheapest and best ways to buy diapers).
Now you are ready to create your registry. Click here to register for your Amazon Baby Registry. Subsequent to clicking “Make another record”, fill in your profile.
Please fill in the correct address and due date, and make sure to list Amazon Prime membership as the primary recipient.
Visitors can not see your location. Note that they have the option to send gifts to the “recipient’s address” or to their own address. For the last two, you need to configure your record this way so you can get the maximum best discount.
Add Items to Your Registry
If you want access to Amazon Baby Registry and Closing Discount, you must add to your registry a limited number of items that qualify under their main categories. Fortunately, Amazon makes this so much easier. Click on the main categories displayed in the screenshot above and add the items to your registry
If any of those items are not listed, you can go to the search bar, find the item you are looking for, and click “Add to baby register”
Remember, if you have already registered for items in another registry or do not need items from a specific category, simply click the checkbox next to the subsection.

How to get the Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box

Amazon has 3 requirements that you must first meet before retrieving the welcome box.
You must be a Prime member
Your checklist must be at least 80% complete

How to Get the Completion Discount

(I added quite many of my postpartum musts that were eligible for the reduction. I’ve heard rumors from other mothers that toys and electronics are eligible as well).
Like the welcome box, you need to fulfill a couple of conditions before you can hitch this benefit.
Subscribe up for Amazon Prime (for the 15 reductions. You can still use the 10 reductions if you’re not a member)
Stay until you’re within 60 days of your due date and at least 14 days after you created your registry
The completion reduction is for the primary registrant only. So, make sure that the primary registrant holds the Prime class.
To get the completion reduction, navigate to your baby registry Home, also Benefits. The button for the Completion Reduction is generally frontal and center. Generally, it says, “ Redeem.”
From then, you’ll be taken to a list of particulars on your registry (both eligible and not eligible). In order to take advantage of the complete reduction, you MUST add particulars to your wain from this screen.
After you’ve added the particulars you want, check out. You should see that your eligible particulars are blinked.
Keep in mind that you can use the completion reduction doubly. In my opinion, this policy is GREAT. After the baby is born, you’ll presumably need fresh particulars that you had absolutely no way of prognosticating. Simply add these particulars to your registry and use the reduction again.
